REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

Mr. Cochran has been involved with various municipal engineering projects including: roadway design, bridge design, stormwater drainage and detention, water supply/treatment/distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, and site development. His experience includes feasibility studies, funding applications, preliminary engineering report preparation, preparation of plans and technical specifications, construction observation, and contractor and client correspondence.

Noteworthy assignments have included:

  • Ten Mile Creek Bridge for Butler County, Missouri. Preliminary and final design of a three span pre-stressed concrete bridge.
  • Water Treatment Plant for Dexter, Missouri. Final design and construction inspection of a 1,600 gpm iron removal treatment plant, 4 alluvial wells, and 1.0 MG storage reservoir.
  • Wastewater Treatment Improvements for Kennett, Missouri. Final design and construction inspection of a 1.0 MGD two cell aerated lagoon, four lift station replacements, and new lift station with gravity mains.
  • Industrial Park Improvements for Kennett, Missouri. Final design and construction inspection of concrete street extension with drainage, water line extension, and sewer line extension.
  • Booster Station Improvements for Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Preliminary design and oversee final design and construction inspection of 1,600 gpm vertical turbine pumps and control replacement with backup power.
  • Sanitary Sewer System for Holland, Missouri. Oversee the final design and construction inspection of a new complete sanitary sewer collection and pumping system.
  • Stormwater Improvements Study for Dexter, Missouri. Preliminary engineering report on a stormwater needs survey outlining the needs and proposed projects.
  • Water Treatment Plant for Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Performing final design and construction inspection for 4.5 mgd surface water treatment plant renovations including primary and secondary rapid mix/flocculation/settling basin, new dual media gravity filter, and high service/backwash pumping with automatic controls.
  • Sanitary Sewer System for Whitewater and Allenville, Missouri. Final Design and oversee construction inspection of complete wastewater collection and pumping systems with recirculating sand filter treatment and UV disinfection.
  • Water Supply Wells for Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  Final Design of10 MGD water supply well field with 38,000 feet of 24-inch transmission main and fiber optic network for VFD controls.
